Stuart McIntrye is opening Social Connections V in Zurich. This is the fifth event, in the fifth country. We have seen a growing number of attendees, and increased support from the sponsors. The conference has become bigger and better each time.
Why are we running Social Connections? Back in 2011, we felt “social business” and “IBM Connections” were very new to the market. Needed to create a place for discussing the business side of social business and IBM Connections, and for sharing best practices.
A couple of comments from Femke about the agenda and logistics:
– Why Switzerland? To engage with new people.
– 185 registered participants from 19 countries, including Japan, Australia, and more.
– 31 speakers in 26 different sessions.
– 96 different organizations. There will be seven case studies presented.
Peter Van Buul, Sales Leader at IBM Switzerland welcomed all the attendees.
