Announcing the Availability of the Doing Business with IBM Connections In-house Workshop

The two-day in-house workshop aligned with my new book, Doing Business with IBM Connections, is now ready for immediate delivery. If your organization is exploring the potential in using IBM Connections to improve collaboration and social business outcomes, this workshop provides a vendor-neutral, independent perspective on what does and doesn’t work, and how to approach IBM Connections from a business and human factors perspective.

The flow of the workshop is designed to stimulate conversation, debate, and strategizing on how your organization can best approach the use of IBM Connections.

The workshop starts with an open conversation on your current state and vision – so as to provide a context for the workshop.

A series of ten common collaboration scenarios are then presented and brought to life using IBM Connections. The intent is to show step-by-step what’s involved in using IBM Connections to bring each scenario to life, with a large emphasis on getting beyond “where to click.” In other words, while workshop attendees do learn where to click, the much greater intent is to explore the mindset, thinking, and human factors in making each scenario work – this is where the bulk of the time is spent.

On the second afternoon of the workshop, once the ten scenarios have been presented, there is time to step back from the scenarios and consider “Where to from here?” for your organization. This session is designed to bring together your starting vision, wrap in the new ideas you have gleaned from the workshop, and to lay fresh plans on how to get started.

For more details on the workshop, along with the standard agenda, please check out the Doing Business with IBM Connections Workshop. As I noted above, the workshop is ready for immediate delivery.
