I met with my accountant earlier today – the New Zealand government is changing a few things in the area of company law, so I had to discuss what’s going to happen to my company. After that was sorted, I met the senior partner, and he was quite interested in my iPad. But – he doesn’t want to jump from PC to Apple land.
His requirements?
– The tablet has to run Windows. Mac is a no-go.
– It must support speech recognition. The senior partner is a heavy user of Dragon Dictate.
– It must support hand writing recognition.
Do I tell him to wait – for an iPad-like device that meets the above specifications – or just to go and buy something like the Lenovo X201 Tablet?

X-201, Windows 7, SSD, and 4-8GB Ram, It will scream for seamless handwriting and speech recognition.
Thanks Eric – I agree, but while my accountant might love the idea, I doubt he’ll love the price. He is, after all, an accountant.
