TextFlow: Creating an Individual Document

This is the third post on TextFlow in my research into collaborative document co-authoring products and services.

Creating a New Document
Any document sharing or co-authoring episode begins with creating the first draft. Someone — one party in the group — has to click “New” within the tool of choice to start the document. In the one minute video that follows, I create a new document in the TextFlow service.

Creating a new document as an individual in TextFlow is simple and easy:
– There are big buttons on the top of the window that clearly state what you can do.
– There’s no fluff or extraneous capabilities. The focus is clearly on writing text.

As noted in the Overview of TextFlow, only text is supported in the service at the moment. Images and table support are planned for the future.
