At KMWorld 2008, I had the opportunity to meet Janus Boye, founder of the J.Boye independent analyst firm. I’m delighted to announce that I will be running some workshops and master classes on SharePoint in Europe for Janus’s clients in late March and early April 2009. Details for the master class in London have just been posted.
“A full-day workshop based on Michael Sampson’s research, writing and consulting on effective collaboration with Microsoft SharePoint, as well as Michael’s latest book—Seamless Teamwork (Microsoft Press, 2009)—on using SharePoint for collaboration.
Microsoft SharePoint offers many capabilities to support team, enterprise and cross-enterprise collaboration, but how does an organisation leverage the best of SharePoint to do so? Part of this is using the technology for smart purposes; an even larger part is about having the right thinking and governance structures in place.“
