On Interruptions

One of the sessions for Eric’s Beyond Planning conference this week was entitled Beyond Interruptions. In the brainstorming notes I wrote this, but it didn’t make its way into the final presentation … but the clarity of it challenges me every time I re-read it:

There are big interruptions in life …
(a) death of a spouse,
(b) employer goes bankrupt …
These affect DREAM DEFINITION

There are little interruptions in life …
the phone rings, someone drops by for a chat, email dings …
These affect DREAM REALIZATION
