Over the last few years, there has been an explosion of available options in Web-based team collaboration services. It is now very easy to set up a team collaboration space on the Web and begin to work with a roster of distributed project members and colleagues. This explosion of availability raises many questions. For this article, the focus will be: What are the security risks of embracing such a service, and to what degree can one mitigate against those risks?
