This past week I’ve been using David Seah’s wonderful Emergent Task Timer sheet to help me organize, prioritize and concentrate the various tasks and responsibilities I’ve had to juggle.
You write your tasks down the left-hand side, and then track in 15-minute increments where your time was actually spent during the day. I’ve found it wonderfully clarifying to end the day with recourse to a visual analysis of the flow-and-ebb of my day, and well as to observe those times of the day where I could have been more focused and stayed more on task.
