As an advocate for organisations to embrace new digital tools to enable a re-imagining of work, much of my focus over the past decade has been on showing the benefits of taking that path.
I was thinking about this whole issue again a few days ago when I met with the Collaboration Manager for a global firm. During our discussion we very quickly zeroed in on the challenge of how to win the attention of busy people to demonstrate the value (whether transformational or incremental) from his firm’s push into Office 365.
And so I ask myself afresh: what am I not doing? And more generally, what do “we” (the collective interested in demonstrating value from transformation) need to do?
