Over the past year I have been doing a lot of work around the effective use of Office 365, and have been wanting to develop a group of people in Christchurch who are interested in making the most of Office 365 in their businesses and organisations. With the arrival of 2016, it is time to push ahead with that idea, and to that end, I am delighted to announce a new Meetup group in Christchurch called Office 365 for Business. My plan is to meet on a monthly basis in a central city location, for a couple of hours in the early evening to learn together, share experiences, and develop a grounded repertoire for making effective use of Office 365.
The first meeting is on Tuesday February 23, from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. Here’s the details:

Office 365? You’ve undoubtedly heard about this offering from Microsoft, but what exactly is it? Let’s start by laying the foundation – what it is, what it isn’t, what’s included, how you get it, etc. Some people know Office 365 as the new name for the Office applications; we’ll talk about that. Others know it as an email service from Microsoft; we’ll talk about that too. And much more besides.
