Zolt Charger

Earlier in 2015 I saw the initial advertisement for the Zolt laptop and device charger, which promised to be smaller than the charging block for most laptops, and also give an option for charging two other USB-powered devices at the same time. As a traveler intent on optimal packing, I really liked the idea of its multi-functionalities, plus the removal of the need to carry a standard laptop charging block. By the looks of things you can order it now, but only if you are in the United States (hey, you’ve got to start somewhere). Kudos to Zolt for taking expressions of interest from other countries.

If you don’t want to wait, I’m guessing the US Zolt would work for other countries as long as you carried a US-to-your country conversion plug. US travellers would want to be able to use it when traveling the globe, so there’s no reason you couldn’t buy one and use it in your country anyway. It’s just the seamlessness of the connection that would be missing. In terms of doing internationalisation, I’d quite like a Zolt that had interchangeable heads, much like the Apple charger blocks work now. That would be great.
