Benjamin from Sharegate offers an infographic and blog post on why “migrating” to OneDrive for Business is the wrong way to think about it. I thought this way a pretty good way of describing the problem with doing so:
… OneDrive for Business is a way for them to see and work on all the files they have or are working on in the organization. It’s really a different approach, instead of navigating everywhere you go to your “OneDrive” (get it?) and see all that you are working with regardless of where they are.
….
How do you “Migrate” to something that shows you a perspective of the files you are working on as an individual in the organization.
In both the infographic and blog post Benjamin provides pointers on how to approach this.
