In my final post for The Smarter Office, I review the Interactions 2012 conference from early October in London:
“While I was in London early last month, I attended an intranet conference hosted by Interact, a vendor of “intelligent intranet” software (to use their phrase). The conference was a two-day event, with the first day focused on Interact’s customers and more about Interact’s software and plans, while the second day was for anyone with an interest in intranets. Interact staff presented a couple of sessions on day two, but most sessions were from local and international intranet experts. Day two did not come across as a thinly veiled sales pitch, for which Interact is to be commended. In reviewing my notes from the sessions I attended on day two, there were two main themes at the conference.“
