Michael's Happenings

Recommended Resource: Modern-Day Miracles (My Testimony is Chapter 2)

Four years ago, I wrote A Testimony to God’s Power and Provision, a very real testimony about God’s work in my life. That testimony started,

I am compelled to write about how God has been taking care of me and my family since leaving my previous place of employment. Since He has done amazing things–that only He could do–it would be very wrong for me to keep silent. Honor should be given when honor is due, and I give honor to Him today.

In mid-November 2009, Allison Restagno contacted me via email and shared a project that she wanted to work on – a book that documented God’s work in the lives of people today, and requested permission to include my testimony in her upcoming book. I gave her my permission, and Allison has done a sterling job of making the book a reality – through many challenges, roadblocks, and opposition. Praise God, the result is now available for purchase on Amazon: Modern-Day Miracles: 50 True Miracle Stories of Divine Encounters, Supernatural Healings, Heaven and Hell Experiences, and More. My testimony is included, as chapter 2.

A couple of things:
– As I said to a reader of the book today, the provision I wrote about above is just as real and relevant now as it was then. I couldn’t do what I do without God’s help. There’s just no way.
– I have a signed copy of the book – signed by me! – to give away. So – leave a comment on this post (make sure you leave your email address in the email area so I can see it – it won’t be published for all to see), and I’ll do a draw in a week, and will send the book to the winner, wherever he or she is in the world.

  1. Hi Michael, I just read the blogpost from 2007. Thanks for telling that story. It’s so true, the Lord provides in every way. Not only does He provide the opportunities, but it is He who gave us the capability to do the work in the first place.I have seen the same many times in my life and work — it doesn’t always work out the way I had planned, but if I wait for His direction, I get to do some amazing things.

  2. I came to visit your site to get some help regarding user adoption and some planning we’re doing. My company is going through the WORST times we have seen across my 26 years of service here. We’ve had to say goodbye to good people and we’ve seen friends and partners falter. I’m sure we will see better days – but sometimes all these tough times weighs heavy on the soul. I’ve been wieghed down down a bit lately – and after serendipitously finding this posting (and your 2007 prior posting) my spirit has been uplifted a GREAT DEAL. Thank you so much for sharing your story and praise and I thank God that he brought me to you (and your story) this afternoon. God is so good to us!
