Report on the SharePoint Roadmap Masterclass in Bergen (Norway) on October 6 with EDB Consulting Group

On Tuesday, I was in Stockholm at the IntraTeam event. Once it was finished (my session was the last for the day), I headed to Arlanda airport and flew first to Oslo, then to Bergen. After getting to bed at 1.30am, I was up at 6.30am to present the SharePoint Roadmap Masterclass in Bergen, in conjunction with the EDB Consulting Group.

It was a good day. There were 12 people attending, across a mix of organizations, and a mix of stages with SharePoint. Some were new to the SharePoint journey. Others had been on the SharePoint journey for a while. The delegates were responsive to the material I presented, and I appreciated the way they took part in the discussions and governance exercise after lunch.

It was raining in Bergen, which apparently happens a lot. The thing I noticed more than the rain though, was that the homes were built up (3-4 levels was common), not out (1 level is most common where I live in New Zealand).

My thanks to Geir Magne from EDB for the invitation to come to Bergen, and for making the day possible.
