I have been using my Lenovo W500 with Windows 7 Professional a lot during the past week, and I have to say that one of the features that I really, really like is the open windows preview when hovering over an application slate at the bottom of the window. For example, in the shot above, I have hovered over the Internet Explorer slate, and four windows have popped up … small preview windows of what’s open in Internet Explorer.
Mac OS X does this a bit differently … you can “gather windows” by clicking on an application icon in the dock … but actually … I prefer the Windows 7 approach. It’s pretty cool.
