Yesterday I presented to about 30 people at the Christchurch SharePoint User Group on User Adoption Strategies for SharePoint, based mainly on my recent Governance Themes report, along with a sprinkling of material from my upcoming User Adoption Strategies book thrown in for good measure. It was a good session … there seemed to be a real hunger for user adoption advice, and the engagement and interaction during the Q&A session was excellent. Thanks to everyone who attended … and to those who spoke with their experiences!
One particular call out: many thanks to Gary Payne of Small Steps Computing for organizing the session, coming early to get the room ready, lay out the lunch, introduce me, end the session, and then pack up at the end. Wow. Leaders of user groups put a lot in … and Gary did that in spades yesterday. Thanks!
