I have just signed a book contract, but what I found really neat was that the publisher asked for my signature using the DocuSign service. That meant I could review the contract in a Web browser, download it to read offline if I wanted, and when ready to sign, do so inside the browser window with a signature I set up in the DocuSign service.
It’s pretty cool. The days of retaining a fax machine just for signing contracts are over.
