Microsoft are in town for an afternoon of business focused talking around communication, collaboration and the like. The “Connect” series is about linking new technology with business needs. The aim is to help IT Managers and CIOs articulate business-oriented technology to their businesses.

The new South Island Regional Manager, Elizabeth Kirby, welcomed an audience of 100 or so. She is newly appointed down here, and looks forward to expanding the Microsoft presence in the South Island.

There is a main session for 90 minutes, and then 5 breakout sessions on UC, SharePoint, Exchange 2007, business intelligence, and Dynamics CRM.
