Autonomy is working on version 2 of its iPad and iPhone app for WorkSite. Various new features are coming:

“To summarize, the new version comes with Split View, the ability to synchronize matters for off-line use, document version support, advanced search functionality, single sign-on via AD trusted login, a local encrypted document store, and much more.

The new WorkSite App v2.0 will work with a new version of the WorkSite Mobility Server in order to support these new capabilities.“

There are some good themes coming through here – offline support (per Pillar 2 of 7 Pillars), and a local encrypted document store (to increase security in the case of a lost or stolen iPad).

Version 2.0 is focused on the iPad. Apparently Version 2.1 will do more for iPhone users.
