OpenText is exhibiting at Share 2011. Key things:
– talking about SharePoint site provisioning and archiving – see the product OpenText Application Governance & Archiving for Microsoft SharePoint. Will create sites as required (through a governance process), and then based on certain triggers (eg., project completion, and records management requirements), will also archive the sites.
– OpenText provides a mechanism to expose content from lots of different enterprise systems within SharePoint and on mobile devices.
– OpenText’s biggest partners are Microsoft and SAP. Recently won Microsoft Global ISV of the Year (in July 2011). In Australia in August, then won the local software partner award for 2011.
– OpenText sees an integration happening between business process solutions and enterprise content management. In 2011, OpenText acquired Global360 and Metastorm.
– OpenText also sees the increase in mobile devices, and are extending its tools to these platforms.
