Quest Software is exhibiting on the show floor at Share 2011. They are showing some of their SharePoint related tools:
– Migration tools, for moving from SharePoint 2007 to 2010 and Office 365. Also supports Exchange Public Folder to SharePoint. Can take information out of file system to SharePoint too, both on-premises and cloud.
– Site Administrator for SharePoint. It helps with identifying SharePoint sites across the environment, an auditing component, very granular permissions model (what you have, and what you are doing with them), and reporting from a web portal about users, data, access, and sites.
– There is also Recovery Manager for SharePoint, for very granular restores.
