OBS, one of the Gold Sponsors of Share, is showing a few things at its booth:
– Capturx for SharePoint, which uses a special electronic pen and normal paper forms to capture input into SharePoint. A user without a computer fills out the form with the special pen, and when the pen is docked, Capturx uploads the new document into a library. There is on-screen editing available for ensuring a high-quality translation from the handwritten words to text. Very nice.
– The use of a workflow out of Nintex Workflow 2010, to push a document up to a pre-specified Office 365 space. A user can then access the site using their iPad – or any other device. Nintex Forms 2010 was also used in the process, to create a user-input and capture form back to SharePoint. With Forms 2010, you have the ability to set up forms specifically for particular devices, so as to optimize the experience.
