9am here in San Jose CA (4am in New Zealand time), and Jane Dysart is welcoming us all to KMWorld and Intranets 2008. There are 500-600 people in the main room. After the keynote (shortly), there will be 4 tracks of sessions run at the same time. There are also other related conferences going on at the same time, eg, EnterpriseSearchSummit.

A couple of cool things:
– there is wireless Internet access in all of the rooms this year.
– there’s an opening networking event tonight.
