"What's the Best Way to Engage You, Michael?"

I hope it is evident to anyone who has spent even a couple of minutes on this site that I’m deeply passionate about the whole area of collaboration. And that I have been for a long time. What is probably less clear is how I make a living from that passion. Or, to put it another way, how organizations derive value by leveraging my passion.

So here’s the answer.

The best way to engage me is to do so under one of three big ideas: Selection, Possibilites, and Effective Adoption.

  • Selection … is about answering the question “What should we choose?” from a thoroughly business perspective. There are many collaborations tools available on the market today, but how do you choose which ones will work for you? I can lead you through an effective decision process.
  • Possibilities … is focused on envisioning better ways of working through the application of new collaboration technologies within your business or organization. The question that is answered is “How could we use it?” It’s a business-centered perspective, albeit one illuminated by recent technology advances.
  • Effective Adoption … it’s great having great tools, but the business return comes from answering the question, “How can we make the best use of what we’ve got?” Sometimes the wrong answer is a new system, and the right one is having a better plan for what you already have.

Is there a current opportunity in your business for me to add significant value in one of these areas? Let’s talk.
