So we’re walking through the mall on Saturday just before lunch, and we pass a shop with manequins in the doorway … fully clothed but with no heads. Matthew (10) walks past, and then retraces his steps. He acts out the drawing of his light sabre, sound effects and all, and then sweeps his imaginery sabre across the manequin’s neck as though he were engaged in mortal combat.
