On the Demo Floor with Scott Niesen from Attensa

Attensa is about channeling web feeds to users and groups to the right people in the organization at the right. The primary product is the Attensa Feed Server, based on Linux. For installation within the firewall. Also offer RSS feeders … for Outlook, for Mac, for Sametime, for BlackBerry, via the Web browser. All of them are synchronized with the server, so wherever you access them, you are up-to-date and don’t have to see already seen things again.

The primary differentiator is our attention stream technology … which means for the individual, we watch what you pay your attention to. The system is constantly looking at how often you read it, when you flag it, whether you forward things to others, etc, etc … and we give intelligent prioritization to the individual. The attention stream is synchronizing against the server, and it is giving managers and team leaders insight into what streams are most interesting to people. In comparison to things like FeedDemon and NetNewsWire, Attensa has many more basis points to judge attention.
