I love the scene in the final Lord of the Rings movie when Gandalf is waiting at the boat to head off from Middle Earth, and he turns to the four hobbits and says, “It is time Frodo.” The other three hobbits turn to Frodo in dismay, and dear Sam says, “What does he mean, ‘It is time?'”
Well my time to say “It is time”, came today, as I took my packed luggage and drove away from my quiet home in the New Zealand countryside for a week of client meetings in California and New York. This week is such a testimony to God’s grace and perfect timing in my life and the life of my new business, and I am so much looking forward to spending 5 days contributing to the effectiveness of collaboration initiatives at two organizations.
If you are the praying type, I’d appreciate your prayers for energy and clarity of mind and speech for me, and for God’s grace and care for my family. Now for 18 hours of traveling … It is time.
