  • PocketMac Update … PocketMac released Version 4.0.2 of PocketMac, the free synchronization software for linking Mac’s and BlackBerries. New features: upgraded support for the 8100 and 8800 devices, upgraded syncing support for various desktop products, and improvements to the application loader. Available immediately.   • US Army Embraces Windows Mobile … The US Army approved a secure mobile email solution from Appsware Wireless, which works with Windows Mobile devices on multiple networks. US Army personnel can choose BlackBerry or Windows Mobile going forward. “Sensa provides an encrypted tunnel for e-mail from the handheld device, through the carrier’s network to the recipient’s handheld device or a Microsoft Exchange Server if the recipient device is a desktop. Traffic is routed through Apriva’s network operations center, which has dedicated connections to major carrier networks. Sensa uses its own mobile e-mail client rather than integrating with the Outlook client.GCN
