The Doing Business with IBM Connections Workshop provides a deep-dive on the possibilities for using IBM Connections to improve collaboration and social business outcomes. It explores ten common collaboration scenarios, and how IBM Connections can be used for each, balanced with the human and business factors. If your firm is exploring the potential benefits of using IBM Connections, this workshop provides a vendor-neutral, independent perspective to guide your planning.
This workshop is based on Michael’s book Doing Business with IBM Connections (2013).
Here’s the basic flow of the workshop:
- An initial discussion about your collaboration strategy and previous history with collaboration approaches and technology. This sets the scene for our time together.
- A series of presentations outlining each of the ten collaboration scenarios, with an exploration of how to bring each of these to life in IBM Connections. Attendees get to see each of the scenarios being worked out before their eyes.
- Discussion and debate about the various ideas, approaches, and concepts aligned with each of the scenarios.
- A closing session to strategize on how your organization can best approach the use of IBM Connections, in light of the scenarios and the discussions over the two days. You leave with an initial plan for how to make progress.
