This morning I started the 40 hour journey from Brussels back to my home in New Zealand. I’ve been on the ground here for almost a week, having arrived in London on Saturday night last week. Sunday was a day of rest (although I walked for most of the day to ensure I didn’t sleep). Monday I presented a workshop in London. Tuesday I met with various people in London for discussions related to my current research project. Wednesday I attended and presented at the Interactions 2012 conference in London. Thursday I attended and presented at the Stratiteq Social Collaboration Day in Malmö. Friday I attended and presented at a public sector ICT conference in Brussels. It’s been a great week, but my contributions are ended for this trip … and it’s time to go home.
Thanks to everyone who made this week possible, challenging, and enjoyable. I’ve appreciated the opportunity to speak on collaboration culture, governance, and adoption, to provide encouragement for your work, and to give you some ways of thinking about the challenges you face. Until the next time we meet … go well.
