If you blog, please help Nora with her blogging research

I recently received an email from Nora Barnes about her research study into blogs. She writes:

My name is Nora Barnes and I am a professor at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Currently I am conducting the first academic study on blogs, and would appreciate your help. I hope to be able to report on what motivates bloggers, how they handle legal and ethical issues, and how blogs have helped promote businesses or views.

I would really be pleased if I could include you in my study. The survey is short and should take less than 5 minutes. I would be happy to e-mail, fax, or call you. Please let me know if I can contact you and what the best way might be. I would be happy to share the findings of my study with you and send you a gift for participating. I look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
Dr. Nora Barnes

I asked Nora if she would like some more respondents, and she replied:

Are you kidding? I’d LOVE more respondents! I think this whole project hinges on a huge response rate. If this is going to be bloggers giving advice, it has to be a ton of them to have credibility. I’ve got the survey up on my web site. Anyone can take it by going to www.umassd.edu/cmr. It’s right on my home page with my email address to submit it. Can you help me?

So … if you write a blog, please consider investing 5 minutes into Nora’s research project for the good of us all.
